(landscape architecture), magna cum laude, 1979; University of Maryland School of Law, J.D., with honors, 1991. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1991. Licensed landscape architect, attorney, and realtor. Vice-President, Site Resources, Inc., 1995-. Founding member, North Central Republican Club (vice-president, 1990-91). Field coordinator, Soccer Board, Lutherville-Timonium Recreation Council. Coach of girls and boys soccer, baseball, and softball. Married; seven children.
